Meet Adrian Kirkbride
Adrian Kirkbride (Kirky), the AJ-Security company owner has been involved in the security industry since 1989. He has a vast amount of local knowledge and gained valuable experiences and valued information which he shares with the team, to ensure that everything is done to the best of their ability.
Since forming and launching AJ-Security, the company has spread its wings further afield and branched out to benefit other businesses in the security industry, throughout the County and United Kingdom, by helping them bulk their workforce when required.
AJ-Security are here to offer expert security services to commercial and residential property owners, (including tenants and landlords) in addition to growing within the event industry on a local and national scale.

SafeContractor
Sometimes it can be challenging for a business to prove and reassure their clients that it takes workplace health and safety seriously. SafeContractor is all about reassurance - it shows that a business puts their employees’ health and safety first.
SafeContractor is an accreditation provided by Alcumus, who are a leading provider of risk management, certification and accreditation services with over 27,000 members.
It is designed in a way for service suppliers to reassure new and existing clients that they care and remain competent in health and safety.
ISO 9001: 2015
ISO 9001 is defined as the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). We use this to demonstrate our ability to consistently provide services that meet client requirements.
It outlines a framework for improving quality and a vocabulary of understanding for any organization. It allows us to provide services that consistently meet the requirements and expectations of clients and other relevant interested parties, in the most efficient and professional manner possible. The QMS is the aggregate of all the processes, resources, assets, and cultural values that support the goal of client satisfaction and efficiency of the business.
Cyber Essentials Certified
Cyber Essentials is an effective, government-backed scheme that helps our company protect against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks.
Cyber attacks come in many shapes and sizes, but the vast majority are very basic in nature. They’re the digital equivalent of a criminal trying the front door to see if it’s not secure.
Being Cyber Essentials accredited is our way of protecting against such threats and in doing so, reassuring all clients that we are one step ahead and doing our bit against cyber crime.
Having this in place reduces risks, increases credibility and reassures you that data protection is very important to us.
Being certified gives us and our clients peace of mind that our defences protect against the vast majority of common cyber attacks, because these attacks are looking for vulnerable targets which do not have Cyber Essentials in place.
