Our founder, owner, and Managing Director began his career as a young bouncer in 1989, transitioning over decades in the industry into a Door Supervisor as the industry evolved with the formation of the Security Industry Authority. This change was widely embraced for enhancing the role's responsibilities and defining job expectations more clearly.
A tragic incident in August 2017, involving a fatal unprovoked knife attack on a close friend, profoundly impacted him and the community, reinforcing his commitment to prevent such events in the future. This led to the official launch of AJ-Security in January 2018, after acquiring essential quality management accreditations that reflect our dedication to safeguarding those who invest their trust in us.
By 2021, AJ-Security had earned significant certifications including ISO 9001:2015, Safecontractor, Cyber Essentials, and in 2022 we achieved the prestigious Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS).
These accolades underline our consistent commitment to quality management and client information security.
Our services extend beyond providing licensed male and female security guards; they also include Door Supervisors for licensed venues, ensuring safe and enjoyable evenings for all patrons, organisers and management.
